June 4, 1814: The regency is abolished and replaced by an appointed viceroy to carry out domestic duties. Early elections are called due to the 20 members rule. Bluchard leaves Volkstat.

September 1, 1829: Engel announces he will not run for the council, or any other office, retiring to his estate in Deutschstat.

March 2, 1835: Francis II dies. The governemnt of Volkstat, upon his viceroys advice, decides to send letters to the Prince-Electors to elect a new emperor.

May 1, 1835: After either receiving no reply or declining to elect a new one, a referendum is held on if the Soviet should elect a new emperor or if the monarchy will be abolished.

June 1, 1835: 59.38% voted to abolish the monarchy. The viceroy accepts, the monarchy is abolished, and new elections begin. Many believe this happened because the Viceroy didn't mind and Engel supported the anti-monarchist movement.

September 27, 1837: Engel dies of old age. His funeral is attended by aproximately 7% of the population of 13,274.

May 1, 1848: The 1848 revolutions occur around Volkstat. No liberal ones occur, but there is a protest occupying many streets in Neidstat where many want to join the Netherlands. The Dutch do not lend support, and there is no deaths, though a few people were beaten.

16 June, 1866: The Austro-Prussian war happens. Volkstat send a few dozen doctors to the Prussians.

December 25, 1866: Bismark comes to tow- I, mean, Volkstat, and asks them to join the North German Confederation. Volkstat refuses, and Bismark says they will get Volkstat into the Confederation in any possible way. Volkstat interprets what that means, and in New Year, Bismark gets a letter to come and meet them.
